Friday Five: Cyber Five Edition

friday five cyber five

Happy Black Friday! Lucky for you, this month’s #FridayFive coincides with the biggest shopping weekend of the year. I’m sharing (more than) five of my favorite stores, deals, and sales.

Also, while we’re at it, Tuesday, December 3rd is Giving Tuesday! While you’re out getting things you don’t need and gifts for others, take some time to buy a toy to donate or set aside some money to give back to the community. As an added bonus, Saturday, November 30th is Shop Small Saturday. Before you go out spending all of your money in big-box stores, support local businesses!

Now, on to the deals, sales, and my favorite products.

Amazon

I do a solid 75% of my holiday shopping on Amazon. In case you didn’t realize it, Amazon is primarily comprised of small businesses. There are some counterfeiters and some more unscrupulous behaviors from sellers, but a lot of them are good guys. Just be sure to check reviews! They’ve even started a “Countdown to Black Friday” so you can start saving now.

Amazon will always have the best deals on their own products. Things like Fire Sticks and Kindles. To get the biggest bang for your buck, be sure to sign up for a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime! If you sign up now, it will last you all the way until the holidays for all those last minute purchases.

Erin Condren

Did you know that Erin Condren is more than just beautiful planners?! It’s basically a preppy organizer’s dream. There’s everything from planners to notebooks to even personalized stationery. Did I mention that the whole store is 30% off for Black Friday?! Talk about fantastic stocking stuffers and gift ideas! I grabbed a few things for friends and family already, and have my eye on a couple more.

Audible

Yes, Audible is a part of Amazon, but still. I’ve been super particular about how I listen to audiobooks or podcasts. Basically, I have to be able to handle the voice of whoever is speaking. If you know me, it’s likely that you’ve heard me say, “They could tell me a story.” However, do you know how much more reading you can get done if you listen to books? While you’re cooking or cleaning or driving. So much more book time!

Target

We all know the joke…”You don’t tell Target what you need, Target tells you what you need.” That’s why a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale at Target may just be the most dangerous of them all. I just got my 2020 planner, and it’s so beautiful.

Sales from the Web

Here are some more great sales from the internet!

Cupshe is offering an extra 25% off your order of $80 or more for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Yes, they are separate links, so be sure you’re clicking the right place!
