Coffee Mug Obsession

Everyone has different collections. Growing up, I collected rocks and marbles. I love collecting notebooks now. However, one of my favorite things to collect in my adult-age is coffee mugs. I’m not sure where or how it even started. I think it may have been at Pier 1 shopping with my mother. I found three really beautiful mugs (because, of course, it’s Pier 1). My mother asked me “Don’t you want a set?” For whatever reason, that was an absolutely preposterous concept. Since then, I’ve started collecting mugs. In my new apartment, I use them as decor because I have minimal storage. One, I even use as a doorstop because my office door won’t stay open. I remember most mugs and where they came from, so here’s a look into one of my favorite things!

I think this one is technically supposed to be for beer, but I love the look of clear coffee mugs.
Magnolia, of course. My mom got this for me for Christmas 2015.
This was one of those first three mugs. It’s floral and large and just different.
This one may have been a hand me down of Christmas gifts my mom got from her students. It stays in my kitchen as a reminder to be awesome every day.
Big thanks to my sister for this one! I love my Leslie Knope mug. #realpriorities
My parents when to my godsister’s wedding in Colorado this past summer while I had to work. It was such a beautiful place, so they brought me a mug!
Another mug from my parents’ travels, though I have been to St. Martin.
Who doesn’t want a little love reminder every once in a while?
Another Pier 1 beauty, of course.
This one is metallic! Handwash only, so I don’t use it too much. It makes for lovely decor though.
There’s a cool market by my parents’ house where different vendors can have booths and sell stuff. This north Georgia potter has a cart, and this mug was one of my Christmas gifts this year.
One of my favorites, and a motto I live by.
My sister bought this for me before my mug collection really started. There’s an owl on the other side, so I only drink from one side.
My most recent addition. Thanks, Pier 1!

Later on, I’ll give you a look into some of my home decor and how these get used around my house! For now, this is my collection. Can’t wait to see it grow! Side note, I think my dad hid one the last time he came to visit…
