Bon Appetit: Everything Sauce

Happy Friday! I’m still in the process of recovering from my company’s conference, but blogging never sleeps. The recipe I’m going to share with you today is for, what most people call Burger Sauce. However, it’s really an “everything sauce”…tacos, chicken, fries, veggies, etc.

Turkey Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, & Pickles

This recipe started as most do: I wanted Zax Sauce at all times. Doesn’t everyone love Zax Sauce? However, I haven’t been to a Zaxby’s in a long while. The last time I went, I was just disappointed. The sauce wasn’t as good as I remembered!

I started making the Everything Sauce a couple of years ago. When you look at the ingredients, it looks awful, so I definitely recommend eating it in moderation. My recipe has evolved, and there are some adjustments you can make to it to your taste as well!

Everything Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Black Pepper
  • Seasoning Salt
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder
  • Garlic Powder

The ingredients for everything sauce are fairly arbitrary. Sometimes, I’ll add some buffalo sauce if I’m feeling like a little extra spice.

Directions:
  1. Add 1/2 cup of your choice of mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of ketchup to a container that can be airtight. Stir until combined.
  2. Season as desired.

Everything Sauce is as easy as that! For me, I did about 1 teaspoon of all of the aforementioned ingredients except for Chili Powder and Italian Seasoning. Those, I just gave a bit of a sprinkle.

I’d recommend just keeping a batch for a week. It only gets more delicious the longer those flavors mingle in the fridge.

Do y’all have recipes you’d recommend? My family loves sauce, so I’d love some more options for Everything Sauce!
