Friday Five – September 2019

You may or may not have noticed that I skipped my Friday Five in August. No sweat if you didn’t. I just completely forgot about it, but there is a lot that I’m loving now!

Yotogo.

I had the amazing pleasure of meeting these lovely ladies a couple of weeks ago. They were kind enough to share a sample of their flagship product with me. It’s a little mini cooler for your yogurt! It even comes with a little spoon and contained ice pack. Add a mini carabiner, and you are really on the go. Plus, you can use it for so much more than just yogurt! Hummus and carrots, vegetables, any sort of dip…the possibilities are endless.

NetGalley

NetGalley was a lifesaver in my recent travels! I had a ton of access to not-yet-released books, and it was awesome. I feel special that I get to review books before they even hit the shelves.

I’ll share my reviews with you all soon! I’m trying to time them with their respective publishing dates. I’ll have a few in October and some more in January for sure.

Kindle Paperwhite

I could not have read all of my NetGalley books without my faithful Kindle! My last trip was to nowhere Illinois, so the planes were small and had no screens! Thus, it was just me and a book. I finished at least two books during my travels.

My Backyard

I’ve been in my house now for…three months? Man, it seems way longer. There was this large dirt patch in the backyard from where the previous owners had a big shed, and I’ve had this dream of a paver patio with adirondack chairs and a raised bed garden. As the weather is (supposed to) cooling down a bit, I’ve been spending a lot more time in my backyard. I’ll be sure to send photos when it’s finished!

Fall Decorations

Now that I have my own home, I thought it was time that I decorate seasonally! Usually, I only go all out (or do anything really) for Christmas. This time, I did a bit for fall. Hopefully the weather will cool down a bit so that I can get a pumpkin for my front door!
