In light of social distancing, working from home, and not going to the gym...here’s some #mondaymotivation for you. Set an alarm for the top of every hour (or whatever time you want every hour). Get off your booty and do some exercise. I opt for a 60 second plank, 50 crunches, and 20 squats. Growing up, I always thought #lent was about giving something up. My parents always gave up sugar. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize that the season is about giving up what does not serve you or implementing things to make you a better version of yourself. This #lentenseason I will:
1️⃣ Move my body every day. This will be achieved by 30 active minutes or reaching my daily step goal.
2️⃣ Read for 60 minutes each day.
These will help improve both my mind and my body. Here’s to the season!
